As a co-organiser of the New Year’s Eve celebrations at Piazza Duomo in Trento, Radio Dolomiti marked its 50th anniversary.

The success story of Radio Dolomiti began on 24 December 1975 in a house in Margone near Vezzano (TN). The station’s first broadcast went on air that day, marking the launch of the first private radio station in Trentino. Its founder, Angelo De Tisi, laid the foundations for a clear mission that still defines the broadcaster today: clear language, reliable information and music for every taste.

Since 2018, Radio Dolomiti has been part of the Athesia Group and has remained true to its DNA despite profound technological and social change. Broadcasting from its modern studios in Via Missioni Africane in Trento, the station now reaches audiences far beyond regional borders in DAB+ quality – while at its heart beats the same passion as 50 years ago, driven by a clear goal: to reach people, share emotions and tell stories.

Behind this success stands a strong team led by Managing Director Michela Baldessari, alongside presenters, editors and technical specialists who deliver a diverse programme day after day.
