The Athesia Group operates its own energy competence centre for projects in the field of renewable energy — covering everything from development and financing to operation. Investments in this forward-looking sector strengthen the Group and demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability.

Across our 16 locations in Italy, green energy is generated from biomass, wind power and photovoltaics. The facilities are located in the provinces of Verona, Modena, Bolzano, Brindisi, Lecce, Foggia and Potenza. This climate-friendly energy production uses regional resources such as wind and sun as inexhaustible sources.

Additional projects, including in the areas of biogas and hydropower, are currently under review. Our commitment is further reinforced by a research project focused on innovative agrivoltaic technology.
