WHISTLEBLOWING

Confidential. Secure. Compliant. Athesia provides a secure channel for reporting concerns with the aim of preventing criminal offenses and resolving misconduct.

Secure channel
for making reports

In accordance with Legislative Decree 24/2023 and Legislative Decree 231/2001, companies are required to establish a secure channel for reporting within the meaning of “whistleblowing.” Employees of the Athesia companies may confidentially or anonymously report legal violations as well as unlawful or unethical incidents.

Important to know

Type of information

Information may be submitted regarding substantiated suspicions, knowledge of actual or potential violations, as well as attempts to conceal such violations (regardless of whether they have already been committed or are very likely to occur). Furthermore, reports concerning unethical conduct or behavior that violates internal policies (e.g., the Code of Conduct) are also permitted.

We would like to remind you that defamation of individuals is a criminal offense. You are therefore requested to provide reports with concrete information and not to use this channel for personal conflicts.

Confidential and anonymous reporting

Reports may be submitted either confidentially, including contact details, or 100% anonymously. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality and due protection. The legal requirements under the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive 2019/1937, Legislative Decree No. 24/2023 (Italy), and Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 (Italy) for the protection of whistleblowers apply, as well as EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.

All information provided is protected by the Whistleblower Protection Act and a secure whistleblowing platform. No IP addresses are stored, data is end-to-end encrypted, and metadata is removed to safeguard the identity of individuals. Further information can be found on the provider’s website.
